Sweet & Chocolate

Although Switzerland, Belgium or France are synonymous with production of high-quality chocolate, we should not underestimate the importance of Spain, and specifically Barcelona, have played in history of chocolate and its introduction in the Old World.

For example, did you know that in 1520 the first unprocessed cocoa beans arrived to the port of Barcelona, brought by Christopher Columbus and coming from the Aztecs of America before being presented to King Ferdinand of Aragon and to Queen Isabella of Castile?

Our facilities together with the extensive experience of Codorníu staff offer you the possibility of organizing a wine and cava tasting pairing them with chocolates and sweets. A perfect pairing to delight the most demanding palates.

The tasting includes a wide selection of traditional cakes and chocolates made by a pastry chef, which accompanied by the wines and cavas we propose next, will lead you to live an experience that will awaken your sweetest side.

  • Viñas de Anna Blanc de Blancs – In the mouth it is an intense wine with notes of ripe fruits and tropical fruits, with a fresh and citric finish, offering as a whole an enveloping experience.
  • Dulce Anna – Sweet and soft cava to the palate, full of vitality. Dulce Anna is ideal to taste with exotic dishes, cheeses, pies and desserts in general. It can also be a refreshing option as an aperitif.
